Are there no pictures of the sprues or figures from the xvi-xvii c. Chinese Infantry?

Have you heard if the Boxer Rebellion Japanese Infantry have progressed?

Hi Haron!

Thank you for posting the scans of the new Russian Sailors and Infantry. These sprews look well detailed! Very nice! I'm looking forward to buying many of these new sets.

Also, I'm making some Boxer Rebellion/55 Days at Peking (movie) small Chinese Forts and Foreign Compound for the Allies from Giant of Hong Kong Mongol Castle and Knights Castle. So far, I have the Church that the French and Christian Converts were seiged in, and a Chinese Fort. I want to make 3 or 4 total.

Can I add them to an e-mail and post them here on your forum? Should I e-mail them to you first?

Please let me know here, or ...

My e-mail is: henneco2007@hotmail.com

Have a Grand Weekend!

These are terrible figures/RedBox/they are too small with very bad mould quality, I do not understend how you could cooperate with such company like Red Box, however subject is interesting but with their quoloty it is a waiste of plastic

At me is them test-shot sprue RB72025 French Sailors 1900 (Boxer Rebellion). They are made much better, than that they did all before. ????? it is not enough, mould it is much better. The Japanese infantry - their last set on old technology

They do sets for gamers. Their problem was - mould. Now this problem is solved and, I think that their figures are not worse than figures in metal. But they are much cheaper. If I have started to do this historical period, it would be required to me of more than 10 years to make so much sets. And this period is not so interesting to me.

The picture considerably increases the size sprue and even in such big increase it is visible that on figures flash few.

Hi Haron!

Thank you for posting the picture of the RedBox Boxer Rebellion French Sailors. I'm glad to hear that RedBox has fixed it's moulding quality. Could you pass on to RedBox my comments, please:

  1. ++ The new Quality looks nice.

  2. ++ The Grey Color Russian Sailors and Infantry pictures looked nice.

  3. -- The Brown Color used for the American Sets, above French Sailors, and Harfields in UK is selling Russian Sailors and Infantry in terrible Brown Color.

  4. ++ Please make the sets in Blue or Grey Colors.

  5. Note: Alot of us do not paint, so please, please, please make them in Realistic Colors for the Boxer Rebellion, and I'll buy lots of these.

  6. -- I will not buy Brown Color sets.

  7. ++ I want to buy lots of Realistic Color sets

  8. ++ I bought 30-40 sets of Orion Chinese Boxers because many colors.

  9. ++++ Please make the Chinese Casualty set. I think it is a great idea.

  10. Note: I very much appreciate RedBox making Boxer Rebellion. I hope to see it become popular with everyone. For non-painters, please use better colors (no more brown).

Thank you again Haron, and thank you RedBox! Dave Hennen

:-)
